Hawk’s powerful, soul moving performance addresses the discerning listener. Hawk doesn’t require the most powerful amplification but when paired to reference level electronics, it delivers reference level performance.

Impedance: Hawk is a 6 Ohm load and prefers powerful amplifiers. SKY Tower’s easier 8 Ohm load makes it appropriate for a wider variety of electronics, from powerful amps to surround receivers.

Woofer: SKY Tower’s woofer is a 5.75” underhung design where the voice coil remains in the magnetic field throughout its entire excursion and plays down to 36Hz. Hawk’s 5.5” extreme long throw woofer and patented magnet system allow Hawk to descend lower, to 32Hz.

Tweeter: SKY Tower’s 1.3” soft dome tweeter lends a smooth, compassionate charm to all sources and material. Hawk’s 1” allow dome, housed in a rear chamber, is sharp, accurate, and extremely detailed.

Connectors: Sky Tower has two sets of terminals for bi-wiring or bi-amping. Hawk does as well, but uses gold plated WBT terminals to capture the purest signal.

Claw decoupling: SKY Tower’s Claw is made of a high-density composite. Hawk includes the original, polished aluminum version.
